Hong Kong stocks closed up 0,69%

Hong Kong (The Car Insurance Info) Hong Kong Stock Exchange ended 0,69 percent higher on Tuesday, following a record close on Wall Street and as dealers welcomed news that the Government in Italy had formed put an end to months of political deadlock.

Reference index Hang Seng rose 156,24 points to close at 22.737.01 with transaction value of 52,44 billion Hong Kong dollar (6,77 billion u.s. dollars).

While the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed for a public holiday, according to AFP.
