Monexnews-the rate of growth in the u.s. manufacturing sector grew rapidly to the highest level in more than a year and half in February along with the continued rise in the number of new orders, while a separate report showed U.S. construction spending fell outside of the allegation. The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) index of national factory activity, said rose to 54.2 from 53.1 in January, exceeding economists expectations for a decline to 52.5. This is the highest level since June 2008. The manufacturing sector had lost its power in the second half of last year and the contract in November as a result of the storm that hit the northeastern United States.
