Networks partnership ends after both sides failed to agree on renewal terms
Aviva will no longer participate on Willis Networks insurer Panel after deciding against extending an existing agreement with the broker.
It is the second major network deal that Aviva has ended in less than a year. Last June, the insurer terminated his partner status with Towergate-run insurer Broker network because it argued that not enough money from the arrangement.
The existing network-deal between Willis and Aviva will end on December 31, but the two companies will a relationship in other areas of business, including personal and business.

A source close to Willis said the renewal talks broke off because the deal is offered by Aviva was "unacceptable" to the network.
Aviva is placing more emphasis on its branch network and now prefers direct relationships with brokers have after the questioning of the value of the proposition of the network. Other insurers are also understood their network deals be reviewed.

"We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Willis on personal, business and specialty lines."
Willis networks is made up of the commercial network of Willis, for larger independent brokers and Willis N2, for smaller provincial and start-up brokers.
The networks have a combined 142 members manage £ 500 m of gross written premium.
