Financial Services Division President be replaced by William Johnson
Steven Mitchell, President of ovals financial services Division is to retire on 31 May, coinciding with the end of the fiscal year's Group chief executive Peter Blanc has confirmed.
Mitchell is as Director of the oval financial services division replaced by William ' Billy ' Johnson that responsibility for the management of strategy, financial results, operations and foreign key relationships will take over. He is also appointed the oval the high Board of Directors.
Johnson entered oval at its inception in 2003 and has mainly worked in the employee benefits sector and for acquisition of Mitchell head of the employee benefits Department was oval. Prior to joining oval he worked at Bland Bankart and & Alliance Leicester.
Mitchell was oval in 2007 after the Consolidator takeover of his company independent financial advisor Ward Mitchell, becoming head of private clients after the sale. He was appointed head of the financial services and later Director-dvision in April 2008, and was President of the Division in June last year.
Mitchell had a long career in financial services start at financial advisor Pointon York 40 years ago where he was a member of the Board of Directors was before leaving to set up Hornbuckle Mitchell in 1982.
After the sale of Hornbuckle Mitchell to IBC he formed Ward Mitchell in 1994. Oval acquired the company in November 2007.
Blanc said Mitchell was instrumental in the oval financial services to meet the demands of the Retail distribution review restructuring and been central to the pursuit of ever higher professional standards in the business.
