Nike's stock Leapt 7% After Earnings Report

Saham Nike Melejit 7% Pasca Laporan Earnings

Monexnews-Nike released the earnings report that exceeded expectations on Thursday and said the level of orders for apparel and footwear increased. The manufacturer's stock up more than this outfit 7% after the closing, following the release of earnings.  Earnings outside goods rose to 73 cents a shares from 60 cents per shares a year ago. Revenue increased to 6.19 billion dollars from 5.85 billion dollars a year ago. Wall Street forecast earnings of 67 cents per Nike shares at 6.23 billion dollars worth of revenue. The level of orders for Nike brand shoes and clothes for delivery from March to July 2013 rose by 6% compared to last year.(xiang)

EIA Report Restore Oil Prices

Monexnews-traded crude oil turned thin on Wednesday strengthened, post the report Energy Information Aministration (EIA) showed a rise in U.S. crude oil supplies that are smaller than the estimate.

U.S. crude oil inventories rose by 1.1 million barrels during the week ending on February 22. The figure is lower than expectations of a rise of 2.4 million barrels from the analysts. In the same time, the EIA also reported gasoline supplies drop of 1.9 million barrels. While oil inventories increased by 600,000 barrels of distillation.

After the release of the data, crude oil for April delivery contract rose 0.18% turned about to be traded in the range of $ 92.80 per barrel. (vid)

BoE Inflation Report Disappointing Sterling

In a report on Inflation kuartalannya BoE said that the weakening of Sterling and rising energy costs have pushed the prospects of higher consumer prices than the number in November.

"King says if the challenge will be getting heavy and policymakers must do more if needed," said Lee McDarby, head of treasury at Bank dealing Investec Plc in London.
